About Removable Dentures
Adults may loose their teeth because of tooth decay, but custom dentures can restore the smile to a natural appearance. Dentures can be tailored for the entire mouth, or just some of the mouth, referred to as partial dentures. This dental apparatus, whether full or partial allow individuals to regain a natural appearance and full function of the teeth. Removable dentures allow patients to use their teeth and mouths with full function, including eating, drinking, and speaking. Because this type of denture is not anchored, these dentures can be placed for the the lower or the upper, or both, and can be removed when needed. Our dentists at Clement Park Dental Care in Littleton, CO use professional dental labs to produce all of our custom dentures, using only the highest materials so they appear natural.
"The entire staff at Clement Park dental is extraordinary. I've been coming to Dr. H. for 16 years and find her to be very professional, personable, and extremely skilled. The staff is very well coordinated and organized. They are always happy to spend time addressing questions regarding care plans, insurance, and financial options. Dental and oral health contributes to your overall physical health and wellness. Without dental cleanings bacteria builds and can spread to destroy many systems in your body. Yuck!No time? Most spend TWICE that amount of time in line during the week ordering coffee!Just 30-60 min 2x/ year for your teeth will save you hours upon hours at a variety of specialty doctors in the next months or years to come. Talk about expensive.Hey if dentures are your goal in the next 10-15 years- keep doing nothing! Take good care of your teeth these are the only ones (real ones) you’re going to get!PS For some dentures and implants are required due to the individual’s general health and cannot be avoided. But why speed up the process?"- C.S. / Google / Jul 19, 2019
What to Expect
Denture treatment begins with our dental practitioner at Clement Park Dental Care prepping the patient's mouth to be ready, which possibly could include a full exam and cleaning, as well as extractions or fillings. After the mouth is prepped, digital X-rays and molded impressions will be taken and sent to our dental lab so that the custom dentures can be created. While the real dentures are being made, our dentists will provide the patient temporary dentures to use. As soon as the new dentures are ready our dentists will fit and adjust them as needed for a long-term fit.
Removal dentures require special care instructions to keep them in proper condition. The dentists at Clement Park Dental Care will provide these instructions when the patient gets their dentures. If taken care of, removable dentures can last for 10 years or longer. Our dentists advise patients to get annual exams to ensure that the fit of the dentures are good.
Generally, dental insurance covers some of the cost for dentures. The total fee covered depends on the patient's benefits policy, but our accounting department at Clement Park Dental Care will contact the patient's insurance company to gain an understanding their costs. We invite patients to contact Clement Park Dental Care in Littleton, CO to learn more about our payment plans in the event insurance is not accepted.
